Drop-In Reading Buddies & Homework Help

Join us for our Drop-In Reading Buddies and Homework Help program every Wednesday and Thursday from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM, starting September 16. This program is designed for children in K-5th grade, providing a wonderful opportunity to practice reading with trained volunteers in a supportive environment. Kids can enjoy a 30-minute reading buddy session where they will engage with favorite books, build vocabulary, and discover the joy of reading. Additionally, if your child needs assistance with school projects or homework, our volunteers are available to provide guidance in completing assignments and practicing essential math and reading skills. They can also connect students to valuable Library resources, including the free Tutor.com service which offers up to 15 tutoring sessions each week. No registration is required, so feel free to drop by, grab a snack, and let us partner with you in your child's learning journey. Note: While we offer assistance, this program is not a formal tutoring service, and volunteers will not complete assignments for students.
